Another Top Ten Tuesday post. This week we’re focusing on book covers that make me think of summer. Per usually, I’m focusing specifically on romance books. There are a ton of romance novels out there that have a straight up beach scene on the cover. Though, for today’s post, I am am focusing more on covers that give me summer vibes sans beach scene.
The first one that always comes to mind is The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren. The vibrant yellow with the leaves, flowers and toucan scream summer to me. Which is fitting given the context of this book. The best man and maid of honor of their siblings wedding end up having to pretend they’re married in order to go on the happy couples honeymoon. Add in forced proximity and there’s only one bed and you’re in for a good time.
Ever After Always by Chloe Liese is another that screams summer with the palm tree and small amount of sand. So not a full beach scene, but elements of one within an illustrated cover. A second chance romance with a married couple where they join their family on an anniversary celebration for their parents in Hawaii. This also has a dash of forced proximity since they’re married. One of the several five star books I read in June.
The third I want to share today is Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert. The bright yellow cover is what makes me think of summer. Vibrant yellows, which I associate wit happiness, always remind me of summer. This book really doesn’t actually have that summery of vibes within the story. A fake dating romance that I loved when I read it.
A relatively short post that gives us all the summer vibes. What book covers make you think of summer?
