August has come and gone, somehow, and I was thinking about how to sum up the month. I had so incredible highs attending Steamy Lit Con in Anaheim, CA, but I also barely read anything. I’m not kidding. I finished two (2), yes you read that right…TWO books. That aside, I think I am starting to come out of my reading slump. Hopefully!
What did I read?
Always Mine by Laura Pavlov – small town, friends to lovers, light suspense; audiobook.
Making Her Theirs by Lily Manning – why choose, close proximity, surprise/accidental pregnancy, insta-love; e-arc from Net Galley.
What am I reading now?
Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas – the seventh (7) and final book in the Throne of Glass series; I have about 100 pages left as we head into September.
No Cooldown for Love by Aliyah Burke – the third in the Rock Falls series; e-arc from Net Galley; also meets the #23for23 criteria.
What am I likely to read next?
Honestly, there are so many options between e-arcs, the 23 for 23 initiative and so many others that I want to read.
Cleat Cute by Meryl Wilsner – out 9/19
The Name Drop by Susan Lee – out 9/12
The Beast of Beswick by Amalie Howard
Happy fall!
With August over, tell me in the comments what book you’re looking to pick up in September!
